CompTIA Cloud+ shows employers you have the technical skills needed to secure cloud-based infrastructure services in the context of broader IT systems and covers concepts that apply across any, or even multiple, cloud environments. It also shows what you can do, not just what you know, for the work roles of Network Operations Specialist, Systems Administrator, Enterprise Architect and Security Architect.

Who Should Attend

This course is designed for IT professionals who wish to develop cloud computing skills to enable them to move IT workloads to the cloud and integrate products and services from different providers and industries. Their focus is to ensure that cloud deployments are secure, that automation and orchestration are used effectively to bring business value from the cloud, and that costs are controlled through effective management of cloud vendors. This course is also designed for students who are seeking the CompTIA Cloud+ certification and who want to prepare for the CompTIA Cloud+ CV0-003 Certification Exam.
Prerequisites
Recommended experience: 24 to 36 months of work experience in IT systems administration, IT networking or IT data center administration. Familiarity with any major hypervisor technology for server virtualization, knowledge of cloud service models and/or IT service management and hands-on experience with at least one public or private cloud IaaS platform. CompTIA Network+ and/or Server+ are also recommended but not required.
