This course is designed for Project Managers and/or Project Support Personnel who wish to learn industry best-practices and apply a more formal, standards-based approach to their projects. The content of this class directly aligns with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and will prepare attendees who are seeking to obtain the (PMI)® Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification.

Students will benefit from this course by understanding the foundational principles of project management, improving their project management skills, utilizing tools and techniques to effectively manage projects, gaining a common project management language to improve communication, and learning frameworks to identify, manage, and mitigate risk. Concepts learned in this course are immediately applicable to ongoing projects.

In this course, you will identify the components of emotional intelligence and recognize how emotional intelligence benefits organizations, assess and develop your personal emotional intelligence competencies, assess and develop your social emotional intelligence competencies, and practice emotional intelligence in common workplace scenarios.

In this course, you will, analyze the components of emotional intelligence, explain the principles of self-awareness, implement emotional intelligence for better communications and first impressions, demonstrate how to balance positive and negative emotions, and use principles of mental resilience to navigate difficult relationships and situations.
